The Prepping Dilemma. Preppers Will Be Overrun – By Family And Friends When SHTF

I’ve been blogging for 14 years so I know what I want to achieve when I write a blog post. I failed miserably with this one. The Prepping Dilemma.

You see, there’s no solution here. Nothing I can teach. In fact, I doubt this article will help you at all.  How’s that for marketing? 🙂

I wrote this post for myself.

I debated for weeks whether or not to even publish this. It’s too long. It’s full of questions and has no concrete answers. I did zero SEO (Fellow bloggers that know what that means) and don’t even have a keyword or phrase to focus on. No, it was just me typing away trying to get my mind to wrap around a huge dilemma that’s been bothering me for years.

Survival Podcasts I Listen To

Update 04/04/2020: Several of the podcasts have stopped recording episodes so I removed those from the list. I’ve also cut down on the number of podcasts I listen to but still listen daily.

Last week Brian Duff of Mind4Survival asked a pool question on his Facebook group, “Regarding podcasts in general, how do you listen to them“?

My answer was, “Pocket Casts on Android. 16 podcast subscriptions I never miss.”

Another member of the group, Ben W., asked what are those 16 podcasts. I thought that would make a nice blog post topic so here we are. Thanks Ben. 🙂

Failed Overnight Hiking / Lost In The Woods And Lessons Learned

In this post, I just want to cover a few things I learned from my latest overnight hike. I ended up calling it quits about 3 AM and packing it back up for home. That was the plan anyway. What actually happened was I got so far off track that I spent 1 1/2 hours trying to find the trail I came in on.
