This is an appreciation post – a thank you for a cool gift sent by a prepper friend. I also want to show off this cool handmade wooden pen holder a little.
Once in a great while, you get surprised by the kindness and generosity of someone for no other reason than they’re a good person. That’s what I experienced when a prepping buddy, blog contributor, and more importantly, my friend send me this really cool, handmade wooden pen holder.

This isn’t an ad, you can’t buy these. It’s an appreciated gesture and I want to show it off. This wooden pen holder is a beautiful piece of functional art. It was laser etched & cut and hand assembled by our very own Jeff B.
The forth side is blank, and I’m thinking about sticking a tiny stick-on analog car clock (Affiliate link) there. Right now I have a small pack of sticky notes on that side.
I’m sure there are lessons to be learned with acts of kindness like this, but for now, I just want to enjoy it.
